Metro Area Projects / Opportunities Our Bosnian Neighbors - OASIS INTERNATIONAL The Bosnian people of approximately 50,000 throughout the south city/metro area remain largely unreached. Your church family could adopt this people group. You could begin by prayer walking the neighborhood, utilize IMB's C. A.M.E.L. method for discovering a person of peace and eventually starting a church. Oasis International is a non denominational ministry that focuses on serving the needs of immigrants and refugees. Check them out at www.oasisinternational.info The Church at St. Charles This ministry seeks to minister to the persons and families of Powell Terrace and beyond in St. Charles. Compton Heights Saturday Bible Club Now in it's 19th year, the Compton Heights Saturday Bible Club continues to reach out to the different ethnic groups in the community. Many of these club members over the years have not only come to know Christ, but have gone on to grow in their faith and become active members of a local church. The club would welcome discussion with churches who might want to partner with this steady gospel centered ministry. You can contact Pastor Wendy Sapp at 314-771-6208 (church). ********************** Other OpportunitiesHaven of Grace The Haven of Grace is a place where homeless, pregnant women, ages 16 to 24, commit to redefining their lives, ensuring a stable future for their children. Our door is always open to those in need of a new direction. A small residential facility in the City of St. Louis (1225 Warren Street), The Haven provides life skills training in a safe and caring environment. The Aftercare Program meets the ongoing needs of former residents for up to 10 years beyond their residential stay, helping assure self-sufficient and secure families. One specific need is sharing the gospel and showing the love of Jesus through children's ministry and women's discipleship groups.
